Abigail and Kendell had a lovely spring wedding at Stone Chapel on Drury University’s campus just under the stay-at-home order wire. (Couldn’t get your hands on this wedding, Corona!) They selected flowers in soft lavender and white which looked so beautiful paired with their bridesmaids’ sage green dresses. We delivered flowers in rain jackets and umbrellas, but the day cleared up to be perfectly overcast just in time for the couple’s nuptial celebration.

The Wedding Party
We selected lavender freesia and white stock for the bouquets to create a wonderful smelling handful of blooms. The sweet floral scent of the freesia paired with the spicier scent of stock made for a nice blend of aromas. Roses and ranunculus added to the soft romance of the bouquets, and the white and lavender hues really complemented the beautiful ladies’ sage dresses.
Kendell and his groomsmen sported white boutonnières to contrast their medium gray suits with small spray roses and ranunculus. The guys all looked quite dapper in their gray suits and light green ties.
The Ceremony
For the ceremony, we created two large arrangements for the altar with lots of greenery in minty hues highlighting white blooms. The couple stood in between these arrangements as they said their vows.
In addition, we had the pleasure of making the sweetest little flower girl floral crown with Italian ruscus and lavender limonium. She looked absolutely adorable dropping petals down the aisle.
We can’t help but smile looking at all of the happy faces in these photos. If you’re planning a wedding soon, we recommend a looking into a spring wedding at Stone Chapel. Its classic beauty is the perfect location to say “I do” any time of year.
