This vibrant spring wedding at The Austin in downtown Kansas City was bursting with bold colors and beautiful florals, creating a perfect blend of fun and elegance. With a color palette featuring pinks, oranges, yellows, and purples, plus spring wedding flowers like tulips, ranunculus, and roses, every floral detail reflected the joy of the day.

The Planning Process

This past April, we had the absolute joy of designing the florals for a seriously special wedding at The Austin in downtown Kansas City, MO. With a vibrant mix of colors and gorgeous spring blooms like tulips and ranunculus, this celebration was bursting with love and happiness. The chic yet playful vibe paired perfectly with the urban backdrop, creating a day that guests—and we—won’t soon forget.

Spring florals were in full swing with tulips and ranunculus leading the charge. We layered in some coral, pink, and orange roses to make everything pop even more. We added tiny chamomile flowers and solidago for extra texture and joy, creating a whimsical and cheerful floral design.

The Big Day

For the ceremony, we built a lush floral arbor that felt like a magical spring garden standing tall. The couple exchanged vows framed by bold blooms, while aisle arrangements of tulips, roses, and snapdragons added bursts of color to every step down the aisle.

The reception was an explosion of color and joy. Each table had unique centerpieces that matched the wedding florals, with varying heights to keep things visually interesting. Glassware with texture and flickering candlelight brought romance to every table, and the head table—lined with candles—was a total mood. From the first dance to the cake cutting, every detail glowed with vibrant charm.
