When we first met with Brooke and Barrett, Brooke mentioned how much she wanted unique textures and gold accents throughout their floral decor. We blended fresh and dried floral elements, with lots and lots of shiny gold baby’s breath.

The Reception

Their reception was held at The Savoy Ballroom, one of the prettiest historic venues in Springfield. The tables were set with elegant black and gold place settings, adorned with a mix of tall, draping green and gold arrangements and low centerpieces pretty peach and mustard fall hues, accented with gold details and dried textural grasses.

The Head Table

Above their table hung an 8 foot wide cloud of pampas grass, golden baby’s breath, and other textural dried greenery. Small tea lights hung from the cloud in little glass bubbles for a touch of whimsy. On their table sat tons of romantic pillar candles with bud vases of matching floral elements, and on the ground sat large floor arrangements that had adorned the altar for their ceremony as well. This was a show-stopping head table dressed to the nines.

The Courtyard

Out in the beautiful courtyard guests were greeted by wall of champagne, their table assignments, and an incredible space to socialize for the evening. The Savoy’s garden space is bursting with flowers and lush greens. An early fall wedding is the perfect event for such a unique space on Commercial Street.
