Alainna and Caleb had patiently been waiting to celebrate their wedding since March 2020, and we were finally able to kick up our heels this past May of 2022. In two years you might expect that they’d change their mind about a lot of details, but they held strong to Wildly Collective’s original overall design work, and everything looked like a beautiful nursery-inspired garden party on the day-of, gorgeously captured by Abigail Derrick Photography.
Their wedding colors were lavenders and creams, with some deeper purples for depth, and pops of muted orange here and there for a bit of warmth. They dreamt of terra cotta pots lining the aisle to feel as though they were walking through a floral nursery, and what better venue to bring this dream to life than Greenhouse Two Rivers.

The bouquets included lush roses and ranunculus, with wonderfully scented, cloud-like lavender stock, and whimsical elements such as veronica, bellflowers, and playful ferns. The bridal bouquet stood out from the others with white peonies, purple hellebores, and lavender lisianthus dancing throughout.

The Ceremony
The ceremony site was marked by a handmade hexagon arbor built by Alainna’s dad, with statement flowers framing the bride and groom.
The venue was already set for the reception as well, so flowers were everywhere when you walked in the room. In pots down the aisle, on the table tops, at the front of the room at the ceremony location. This made for an impactful entrance and really beautiful photos. Guests took their seats at the tables to watch the nuptial celebration.

The Reception
Guests were greeted at the entrance of the venue with a beautiful acrylic welcome sign framed in florals, with a stunning purple gradient seating chart to guide people to their tables.
Bud vases lined each long family-style table with playful flowers dancing around on the tabletop. The lavender napkins folded on each plate made for such a perfect little pop of color, and really brought the color scheme full circle throughout the room.

Outside in the courtyard stood a photo wall with flowers cascading from the top to the bottom with a sign in the center that read “I love you dearly.” A unique touch, and wonderful way to encourage guests to take selfies on a day so full of love.

We absolutely loved this photo of the bride checking out all of the details that were so carefully put together for their wedding day. So many times the day gets away, and the couple doesn’t even get to see everything crafted for their special moment. It was very cool to see that she made the time to soak it all in.

Flowers Homegrown With Love
It doesn’t happen often, but weddings that are the exact right time of year tend to get a little bit of love from our own gardens. Stephanie and her husband grow tons of incredible peonies, and Alex grows a whole garden dedicated to bearded irises. These two types of flowers tend to bloom at pretty much the exact same time, and this particular wedding got to have some extra-special touches of both. Hand-picked from our gardens to their garden party.
And how perfect is that iris for this wedding?! We couldn’t get over it. Lavender with a touch of orange!

Congratulations, Alainna and Caleb! We hope your day was everything you dreamt it would be.
