Couple standing in front of Haseltine Estate entrance

In March we experienced our very first pop-up wedding with Show-Me Love Pop Up Wedding Co. The air was cool, the sky was a bit cloudy (perfect for photos!), and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. (We almost missed our turn into the venue we were so in awe of the blooming trees!) It was the ideal day for a spring pop-up wedding at the gorgeous Haseltine Estate.

What is a Pop-Up Wedding?

Let’s back up for a second. You may be wondering “What on earth is a pop-up wedding and how is that different from a regular wedding?” We are so glad you asked! A pop-up wedding through Show-Me Love Pop-Up Wedding Co. occurs 4 times a year, and is a stress-free way to have a beautiful, completely styled, intimate wedding of your dreams without all the stress of planning a wedding yourself. No overwhelming decisions to be made. You bring your loved ones and wedding attire, and the rest is taken care of!

Winding greenery growing up staircase

A pop-up wedding lasts for a total of 90 minutes, and includes an intimate ceremony with up to 25 guests, floral elements (by yours truly), and a reception that includes a sparkling bar and cake, with a beautifully styled set-up for it all. These sweet moments are captured by an amazingly talented photographer (in this case, Shelby Chanté Photography), and you get the professional photos of your special day to treasure for a lifetime.

For our March pop-up wedding, we created lush, blush floral elements to complement Hasteltine Estate’s classic architecture. In the main stairway where the ceremonies took place, we built an installation that appeared to be growing from the floor, winding up the railings. Blush roses, white stock, and local raspberry cream daffodils made for lovely spring touches up the wooden staircase.

Jaime Lile

Jaime Lile is the mastermind behind Show Me Love Pop-Up Wedding Co. You’ll find her smiling ear-to-ear on your big day, ready to get you married to the love of your life. She’s a master stylist, and we love working with her to bring these weddings to life.

For this wedding, Jaime created her signature popcorn bar in the reception space for snacking and mingling after the ceremony. The cake made by Charity Fent Cake Design and sparkling juice were arranged perfectly with The Vintage Rental Company’s stunning rental items adorning a lovely gold shelf in the event space.

March 30th was a magical day for Queen City Blooms. We loved getting to beautify an already incredible space to prepare for a truly unique wedding experience.
