A Summer Garden Party at Graystone Valley

A garden party aesthetic with bright florals for a summer wedding at Graystone Valley.

Lydia and Ruvim’s spring wedding was a vibrant garden-inspired celebration set against the breathtaking Ozark mountains. From a beautifully adorned octagon arbor for the ceremony to garden-style centerpieces at the reception, every detail reflected Lydia’s love for fresh, cheerful colors and a natural, freshly-picked aesthetic. With blooms like peonies, ranunculus, and snapdragons, this joyful celebration captured the spirit of the season in every petal!

The Planning Process

Lydia and Ruvim’s wedding color palette was a dream for anyone who loves fresh spring colorsβ€”think soft peach, lavender, and baby blue, with some brighter pops of salmon and rich plum to keep it lively. We pulled these colors into her florals to create arrangements that looked like they’d just been gathered straight from a sunlit garden. The results? Pure magic!

For their arrangements, we wanted a mix of lush, romantic flowers and playful, textural touches to get that β€œplucked from the garden” look she was after. We used peach and salmon roses, apricot and deep plum ranunculus, and plenty of locally sourced flowers like peonies (always a springtime favorite!), along with snapdragons, chamomile, and bachelor’s buttons to add those fun little textures that made every arrangement feel a bit whimsical.

The Big Day

With the Ozark mountains as the backdrop, and framed by a beautiful octagon arbor adorned in flowers, Lydia and Ruvim’s ceremony was as dreamy as it gets. We added lush greenery and whimsical flowers on the top left, and right middle sections of the arbor, creating a stunning β€œnatural frame” for the moment they said their vows.

After the ceremony, the celebration continued with a garden-party-style reception. Each guest table featured an artful mix of colorful floral arrangements and clusters of bud vases. Together, they created the perfect mix of elegance and fun, with pops of color and playful textures that truly reflected the couple’s personality and her love of fresh, garden-style flowers.

The smaller bud vases added a β€œfreshly gathered” feel to the table settings, while larger arrangements brought in the rich colors of her palette, perfectly blending with the modern indoor setting and giving each table its own mini garden.
