A Rainy Fall Wedding at Greenhouse Two Rivers | Highlandville, Missouri
A couple that embraces the season always makes for such fun wedding florals, and Regina and Josh did just that. We sourced unique local sunflowers to incorporate into their floral elements, and paired soft peaches with moodier fall colors to soften up a classic fall wedding palette.
Their day started out a bit rainy, but that didn't spoil their fun! Jordan Rae Photography captured the most beautiful rainy moments outside with this upbeat couple.
The Ceremony
While their ceremony was initially supposed to take place outside, the indoor Plan B turned out so amazing. There's something about the glass walls plus acrylic chairs that makes for such a magical vibe. Pair the location with a moody day and fall flowers, and you've got yourself a downright romantic autumn wedding.
One thing Regina specifically requested for their big day was floral hoops rather than traditional bouquets for her bridesmaids. These turned out so cute and complemented the bridesmaids' dresses nicely. We love the playful look of the hoops in their wedding photos.
For the floral arbor, we created a dense focal point of flowers and greenery on the bride's side of the aisle. This helps anchor the eye, and is a wonderful chance to tie in wedding colors to the space.
The Reception
The reception took place in the same space as the ceremony. Long tables were pulled in, decorated with greenery garlands and coordinating fall wedding flowers, and the arbor did double duty as a beautiful backdrop for the head table. We love when a focal element can be used in more than one way on a wedding day.
