In August, we collaborated with a group of incredibly talented vendors to create a beautiful (in our humble opinion) stylized wedding shoot. Cayla at A Simple Plan dreamt up a romantic, modern bohemian aesthetic for the project and assembled such a wonderful team to bring her vision to life. We set off using deep, moody berry tones in purple, navy, and burgundy with pops of blush and peach, marrying the color palette with various textures via textiles, wall hangings, and beautiful weathered wood to nod to that bohemian vibe.

Couple in Front of Floral Fireplace Installation

We created a wild, garden-style floral fireplace installation all across the mantel at the Fireside Gallery to create a distinct focal point for the shoot. The floral fireplace installation included vines and several different types of greens to evoke a lush, fresh-out-of-the-woods look. This piece was a blast to create.

The bouquet and table arrangement included garden roses, berries, and locally grown dahlias as some of the highlights. Paired with the outrageously gorgeous wedding dress by Alexandra Grecco from Joon Bridal, and the amazing tablescape with items selected by Jaime at The Vintage Rental Company, the flowers all look right at home. Jaime also made the macrame hanging behind the table. She made that! Seriously. So talented.

We’re obsessed with Stevie’s paper goods, and with Jaime’s new styling kit, her invitations just sing. She used this absolutely delicious-looking handmade paper for the stationery and place markers. Makes you want to just reach out and feel it, right??

Speaking of delicious, Amycakes baked up the most decadent chocolate wedding cake with juicy berries adorning the top and sides. And do we even have to mention Kyndal at Inner Images Photography?! Seriously. An incredible talent. The photos speak for themselves.

Michaela Moore modeled for the shoot looking as gorgeous as ever, and Jillian at Gloss Makeup and Hair gave her a beautiful up-do with flawless makeup perfectly matching the vibe of the photo shoot. Radford Jewelry supplied us with an amazingly unique vintage ring, which added such a unique flair to the photos.

Plans came together effortlessly, and we had the best time teaming up with this group of people. It’s a beautiful thing when collaborating with a group of makers not only yields a work of art, but new friendships as well. We could compliment this group of people all day, but if you’ll excuse us, we’ll be over here dreaming up our next floral fireplace installation. Thanks for the amazing time, ladies (and Joel)!
