A Colorful Pastel Wedding at Haseltine Estate | Springfield, Missouri
Peyton and Aaron celebrated their wedding in April with the prettiest outdoor garden party at Haseltine Estate. The trees were in bloom, and the air was warm and breezy. Pastel wedding flowers were a beautiful complement to this gorgeous midwest season.
Floral Inspiration
When we first talked with Peyton, she wanted her flowers to represent springtime to the fullest, with a nod to the mega flower scene in The Great Gatsby (Leo Version). We pulled color inspiration from the screen stills, and incorporated orchids to reference the iconic scene.
Ceremony and Reception Details
The couple married under a lush, garden-style floral arbor, and her bouquet cascaded romantically in a cloud of locally grown anemone and ranunculus, roses, orchids, and other spring treasures.
The arbor came apart in three pieces that were then placed on reception tables to double as luxe guest table centerpieces. The more you peek at the floral elements, the more fun textural surprises you catch: delphinium, tulips, lavender spray roses, locally grown spring blooms including some super fun pink crab apple blooms, in addition to big beautiful anemone and ranunculus.
Bouquet Preservation
After the wedding festivities we met back up with Peyton to collect and preserve her bridal bouquet as a Wedding Memory Box for the couple to enjoy in their home for years to come.
