A Chic Outdoor Wedding in Romantic Pastels | Springfield, Missouri

Bride and bridesmaids holding their bouquets above their heads

Romantic and lush was the name of the game for this sunny, chic outdoor wedding. Roses were the main attraction for the florals in shades of blush, peach and white. We included plenty of texture throughout their floral decor, with blushing bride protea placed in for a unique textural surprise here and there. Rachel and Quinton specifically requested the inclusion of white anemone with navy centers as a nod to Quinton's service in the Navy. Incorporating these intentional touches is one of our favorite parts of the floral planning process.

The Ceremony

This lovely September wedding included a garden-style arbor installation for the ceremony, along with a large barrel arrangement greeting guests as they took their seats. Each piece incorporated a variety of greenery with leaves of different sizes and varying shades of green, creating depth and adding to the organic, growing vibe of the arrangements.

The Reception

The reception took place outside on the back patio at Haseltine Estate. White drapery hung on the pergola, blowing in the breeze. Each table included romantic floral centerpieces, with custom table numbers by Reverie Decor, and chic marble chargers with copper flatware at each place setting. The couple's head table sported a floral runner, with decorative greenery garlands running the length of the 24 foot table. And Charity Fent knocked the elegant cake design out of the park.

Rachel and Quinton's wedding day was beautifully "them" and could not have taken place on a nicer day. Each detail was thoughtfully planned out from Rachel's gorgeous deco dress, to the outdoor ceremony space, down to the pretty sprigs of rosemary at each guest's place setting. You can't go wrong with a classically beautiful wedding palette... and a great team of vendors behind you. Roll the credits!
